The Ecological Folwark Pszczew Vineyard is one of the main tourist attractions of Pszczew and an integral part of the area.
Centuries ago, the land was owned by the bishops of Poznań, who had their summer residence here and were the first to bring vines to the Międzyrzec Land.
Returning to Tradition. Polish Vineyard
The current owners of Folwark Pszczew, Żaneta and Łukasz Robak, decided to return to these old traditions and established the vineyard in 2014. The old vineyard was located behind the former Distillery building, which was carefully restored and is now one of Pszczew’s main tourist attractions. The first grapevines were planted along the wall of one of the old buildings, and more than 600 others were planted on a plot between the building and a pond.
Vineyard Lubuskie
In 2015, a new vineyard was created. Just next to the farm, on nearly 5 hectares of land, right under the Pszczew Landscape Park, thousands of new vines were planted. The experience gained from growing vines in the smaller old vineyard was used to plant new varieties such as: Regent, Cabernet Cortis, Souvignier Gris, Solaris, Johanniter, and Riesling – varieties that were grown 170 years ago in the Zielona Góra region and in Pszczew.
Our passion is high-quality wine, which is why we are fully involved in the entire process of creating this exceptional beverage, from growing the vines to the tasting.
In 2021, products from the Folwark Pszczew Vineyard were awarded the “Culinary Heritage of the Lubusz Region” badge, which attests to their exceptional quality and regional origin. That same year, the vineyard received a prestigious certificate for organic vine growing and organic wine production.
Since 2018, our wines have been featured not only in renowned restaurants and wine bars but also in numerous competitions, where they have received over 70 awards and distinctions (as of November 2024).
